Purpose-built, quality housing options, focusing on health and wellbeing are helping seniors to remain in their homes without compromising on luxury.

There is an increasing demand from seniors seeking to maintain and enhance their pre-retirement lifestyle with sophisticated, age-appropriate housing choices says RetireAustralia Chief Executive Alison Quinn.

“People shouldn’t have to compromise on lifestyle in retirement,” she says.

“They deserve to have quality housing options and the support required to live life to the full in their later years.”

RetireAustralia has revealed plans for a new luxury retirement apartment project on the Central Coast designed specifically to meet the growing demand for quality housing options for seniors.

The Rise at Wood Glen offers a range of stylish and spacious apartments in Erina, with access to a range of facilities and services.

The apartments will be surrounded by gardens and nestled at the base of Kincumba Mountain Reserve within the existing Wood Glen Retirement Village.

Construction of the first stage of the Rise is expected to start in early 2019, with prices starting at $650,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.

Designed by leading seniors living architects Marchese Partners, the Rise will feature 58 two and three-bedroom independent living apartments.

Each apartment will be purpose built for later life and include high-end finishes, European appliances, expansive balconies and glass feature walls to allow natural light to stream in and make the most of the views.

Bespoke design features will ensure the pet-friendly apartments compliment the surrounding mountains and bushland, with colour schemes reflecting the natural environment.

“The contemporary architecture, spacious floorplans, stunning views over Erina and access to adjacent facilities and services sets The Rise apart and makes this a unique offering for people looking for a better way to retire,” Ms Quinn says.

Ms Quinn says with only 24 apartments being released, those interested in an apartment should register their details now to avoid disappointment.
